New sign, interpretation board for Bingham linear nature reserve

New sign, interpretation board for Bingham linear nature reserve

Friends of Bingham Linear park are pleased to announce the installation of a new information board at the start of the Linear park. The board has been funded by the generous support of ALDI who recently opened a new store in Bingham almost opposite the entrance to the nature reserve. There is information on the board about the history of the site and its importance for wildlife. It has photos of some of the plants and animals found on the reserve as well as pictures of the old railway line as it was just after it closed and how it looks now at the same spot. There is a sketch map of the park showing key features, distances and walk times. The friends group will be celebrating the installation of the new board on 4 November at 09.00, with a short ceremony and photo shoot. Anyone is welcome to attend For more information about the friends group please see...
