The organisation delivers programmes and services for children, young people, families and individuals across the county. Andrea Shea, HR Director and member of the Executive Management Team has been with Nottinghamshire YMCA for almost ten years. She reflects on working for the local charity and what the award means: “Over the last couple of years we have grown in staffing numbers and in the diversity of what we deliver. It can be a challenge to keep a consistent culture but this award is recognition that we’re still getting it right – whilst working with more children, young people and adults than ever before, which is fantastic.
