Cafe Allez! now bringing the coffee shop experience directly to your staff or customers …

Winter can feel bleak, especially when the excitement of the festive period is over. It’s at times like this that we all need a treat: a break in the working day to savour a fabulous cup of coffee, an indulgent hot chocolate, or a perfectly brewed cup of tea – maybe accompanied by a delicious slice of cake. A proper coffee break is good for the soul – and for the body too, according to a recent report in the British Medical Journal, suggesting that 3 to 4 cups of coffee per day may have some health benefits, lowering the risks of liver disease and some cancers *. But what to do if your workplace is too far from a decent coffee shop? Cafe Allez! have just launched the solution. They offer a mobile coffee shop, from Van Henri, their restored 1972 Citroen HY van. At weekends, Cafe Allez! is busy catering for sporting events, weddings and festivals, leaving capacity to provide a service for forward-thinking companies during the working week. Grantham, Lincoln, Oakham, Stamford, Melton Mowbray, Nottingham, Leicester, Loughborough, Newark, Derby and Peterborough are in scope from their Vale of Belvoir base. Mark Trevarthen, partner in Cafe Allez!, explains: “We have the equipment on board to grind and brew the beans and steam our milk fresh to order, so we can offer top quality espressos, cappuccinos, caffe lattes and Americanos to your workplace.
