Feel Great with Local Yoga Classes

Feel Great with Local Yoga Classes

Come to yoga classes with Karen and Kev to feel better, get fit, tone up and chill out! Yoga combines physical movements with breathing and meditation techniques. It stretches the muscles and connective tissues, allowing a better range of movement of the joints and spine. In fact, yoga is the only system that stretches and mobilises the spine completely through its full range, so is perfect if you suffer from aches and pains or little niggles. It also strengthens, lengthens and tones the muscles, massages the internal organs, improves balance and concentration and is a cardio-vascular workout to boot. All in all, you’ll feel great after coming to do yoga with us! Our friendly and welcoming classes offer something a little bit more as well as we’re both pain-relief therapists, treating a range of musculo-skeletal problems, such as bad backs, neck and hip pain. We understand what can go wrong with the body, and how yoga can help. Karen is also a remedial yoga therapist – using yoga to treat a range of illnesses and injuries – and offers one to one yoga session too. We offer three classes a week in Bingham (term-time only), and as we can suggest modifications to the yoga postures, our classes are suitable for all levels and abilities: Mondays, 6.30 to 7.40pm at Robert Miles Infant School Wednesdays, 9.30 to 10.30am at Church House Thursdays, 7.00 to 8.15pm at Robert Miles Infant School To come to one of our classes, please email us at info@mabconsultants.co.uk or call Karen on 07775 655 539 or Kev on 07817 547 558. Bach on a Bicycle (Cycling Music Lap 2)

Bach on a Bicycle (Cycling Music Lap 2)

After last year’s successful, 1,500 mile, 36 concert, Cycling Music tour, the UK’s busiest, most entertaining, virtuoso guitarist is back in the saddle. This year the route is even more challenging as Durrant leaves Sussex and heads for the Isle of Skye playing concerts in theatres, arts centres, halls, churches, schools and bicycle workshops along the way. Richard Durrant will pedal up to 100 miles between gigs carrying his show equipment on his bicycle and trailer. And the extreme physical challenge of each day’s ride is just the beginning for Durrant. After each ride his work begins in earnest with a show featuring Bach’s Chaconne and his own Cycling Music for guitar, sequencers and pre-recorded bicycles, complete with spectacular projected animations. The fitter than usual guitarist will also be carrying his ukulele to perform more works by Bach. Richard produced The Secret of Life by The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain. He is something of a uke specialist. This year Richard is proud to be riding an Aurelius Colombus Zoma road bike built especially for the tour by Marek Aurelius. A donation from each show will be made to the Cycling Defence Fund (CDF). CDF is a charity which protects cyclists by defending their rights. It provides information and advice about all aspects of cycling in the UK and helps cyclists access legal assistance. It supports legal challenges relating to cycling, whether they involve a poor police response to a cycling incident, bad cycling infrastructure decisions, or cyclists wrongly charged for a cycling offence. Here’s the full story: You can see a sample of his album here: Cycling Music Lap 2 – 2015...
David Dickinsons Real Deal antiques show, coming to Bingham

David Dickinsons Real Deal antiques show, coming to Bingham

Why let your antiques collect dust in the attic when you can sell them for cash? Take money on the spot from a dealer OR if you think your item is worth more….take a gamble at auction!  Dickinson’s Real Deal is currently one of the most popular daytime show on ITV and is regularly watched by over a million people. Back for a Twelfth series, David Dickinson and the dealers are traveling around the country looking for some more bobby dazzlers brought in by members of the public! If you want to sell your goods, but only for the right price, David and the dealers are going to be at: Bingham Leisure Centre, The Banks, Nottingham, NG13 8BL On SATURDAY 9th May 2015 You could be quids in like many of the people who have already taken part! Last time we were in the area, Wendy walked away with £435 for her Albert chain & watch, Walters gamble paid off with his specimen coins reaching £3500 at auction and Vikki left the dealers table with a cool £450 for her swords! This could be you! As usual David Dickinson will be keeping an eye on the deals and giving advice about whether to take the dealers’ cash OR gamble at auction. But the final decision lies with our contributors and it’s up to them to decide which option is the REAL DEAL! Members of the public should bring their antiques & collectables along – our team of independent valuers will be offering free advice on all items brought along on the day. Admission is free & you do not...
