Judo Club Set to Launch in Bingham

Vale Judo Club, one of the largest judo clubs in the East Midlands, will be setting up classes in Bingham Leisure Centre. The club will open its doors to juniors on Thursday 6th June this year and will be offering classes for boys and girls aged 7-10 years and 11-16 years old from 5.00pm -7.00pm.

All the classes will suit any child who wants to start taking part in the sport or who want to focus of helping others build confidence, get fit and build friendships.

Vale Judo Club will also be running two holiday courses on 30th May. The camps will help judoka – judo players – learn new techniques and fun judo drills. The morning course runs from 10.30am – 13.30pm open to 7 – 10 year olds and the afternoon course will run from 1.00pm – 3.00pm, which are appropriate for beginners and experienced judo players.

The holiday courses will be held at Vale Judo’s permanent dojo in Oakham and will cost £7.50 per person.

So why not go along? You do not have to have a judo suit or any experience, you just have to have fun and enjoy the experience.

If you would like any more information on membership fees, class times or want to buy a judo suit – please contact them via email or the website.
