Juniors of the Vale Judo Club, Bingham, have now passed their first grading since the club opened its door in June this year.
It is a year on from the London 2012 Olympics and Team GB judo medal successes have already encouraged over 100 youngsters from the local area to take up Vale Judo classes. Vale Judo coaches are now accompanying several of the juniors from the Bingham club to competions in Nottingham and Oakham over the next few months – good luck to all who are competing!
If you looking for a fun and challenging sport to help your youngster:
- Gain confidence and improve concentration
- Have fun and make friends
- Get fit and develop skills
- Travel and compete
Why not bring them along to try a judo class for free and join in the fun! The club runs classes in Bingham between 6:00-7:00pm on Thursdays at the Bingham Leisure Centre. Classes are filling up fast so please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
Vale Judo Club was established in 2003, became a member of the British Judo Association and has rapidly grown to become the largest and one of the most successful judo clubs in the country having won the British Judo Club of the Year award.
The club is celebrating its 10 year anniversary on 28th September, as well as the launch of eight new satellite clubs, with a gathering of past and present members.
