Sisters Tracey Bailey, Heather Gospel and Trudie Hennessy, owners of the Daisy Chain Florist in Bingham, are thrilled to be celebrating the shop’s 25th year of business this October.
The anniversary will be marked by a celebratory “drop-in” day on Thursday 10th October where any customers will receive 10% off any purchases made on the day, a voucher for discount on future purchases and a “drink, cake and the usual chat” with staff past and present.
The sisters took over the shop 5 years ago after Pat White retired from the business she opened 20 years before. The building itself, situated on Long Acre, has a history that far exceeds that of the floristry business it is today! The building is grade 2 listed and parts of it date back to at least the 18th century, based on available records.
The Daisy Chain would like to warmly welcome any locals or customers from a little further afield to join in celebrating a family-run business that has managed, unlike many in the recent economic dips, to carry on successfully serving the local people!
