The Sunday Times’ Verdict on Bingham

After Bingham was voted in the top 10 most desirable places to live in the Midlands, The Sunday Times have given a short comment on why Bingham was chosen.

Spin of the Royston Vasey Sign - The League of Gentlemen

“You may have never heard of Bingham, but those who discover it, never want to leave it.

“A small town a few mile east of Nottingham, it has the community strengths of a village, with a good mix of age groups and long list of clubs, societies and events so everyone has something fun to do.

“The old town centre, with its distinctive Butter Cross, is attractive and lively and Toot Hill secondary is in the top two per cent of state schools.”

So what they were really trying to say – Bingham is GREAT!

What do you think? Did you fall in love when you arrived? Are you too attached that you don’t want to leave? Or don’t you agree with what The Sunday Times has said?
